"A Christmas Story" the musical needs cast. Please see more info below. About the project: Adults for principal, featured, and ensemble roles. Strong performers in ALL age groups are needed for this production. Additional info: WHAT TO EXPECT: A movement call for all auditionees. If you can TAP DANCE, you may be asked to attend a tap callback on Saturday. Individual vocal auditions - please prepare 32 bars (about 45 seconds) of an up-tempo musical theatre piece. You CAN sing from the show. An accompanist will not be provided, but you may bring a device to play an instrumental track from. CALLBACKS: Saturday, September 28, 9:00-12:00. Not all auditionees will be required to attend the callback session. Not receiving a call back does NOT mean you are not cast in the production. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin on September 30th and will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings 6:30-8:30 with an occasional Saturday afternoon rehearsal. There will be no rehearsal on Halloween or during Thanksgiving Break. Between performance weekends, there will be a Brush-up Rehearsal on Wednesday, Dec 4 @ 6:30 pm. CONFLICTS: Please be prepared to submit a list of conflicts with the above rehearsal schedule at auditions.
