About the project: Xiao Ting, an introverted online streamer, is drowning in overwhelming loneliness, professional pressure, and a deepening sense of self-loss. As her personal and work life unravels, she becomes ensnared by her buried emotions and the relentless demands of those around her. Desperate for solace, she finally steps into the embrace of the sea, seeking the peace that has always eluded her in life. Rate: Non-Union. This is a volunteer project. Her passion for life has long been eroded by the monotony of her work, leaving her in deep loneliness and depression. Her streaming career is fraught with pressure and competition, and she yearns to reclaim the self she has lost. However, the constant need to cater to her audience has caused her to lose her true identity. In the end, she chooses an extreme path to escape her torment.

He has a certain fondness for Xiao Ting, but it’s more about physical desire than emotional connection. His indifference and escapism make him unable to understand her pain, serving more as a superficial comfort than a true emotional support.

Driven by performance metrics, he is indifferent to the emotional turmoil of his subordinates. Chen sees Wang Xiao Ting’s failure without any sympathy, viewing her as an obstacle to the company’s progress, and ultimately decides to abandon her in pursuit of greater commercial gain. He symbolizes the ruthless oppressor in a harsh societal structure.

She is adept at charming her audience and knows how to leverage her strengths to stand out in the competitive environment. She harbours deep jealousy and hostility towards Wang Xiaoting, believing that Wang’s success is purely due to luck.

Xiao Rou is Lin Mei Qi’s follower and colleague, characterized by a meek personality and a tendency to echo others. She lacks independence and often plays the role of an assistant to Lin Mei Qi. She is envious of Wang Xiao Ting and craves the same attention and success, but she lacks the confidence to pursue it.
