About the project: Plot Summary: A proposed copper mine pits the preservation of Indigenous sacred land against the survival of a rural town. Two young leaders, fighting to save their homes, become bitter political enemies. They also form an unlikely bond. Caught in an iconic battle over the identity of American soil, will these two dreamers be able to help their warring communities find common ground? Inspired by true events. Rate: Primary leads: $1,400 stipend, Supporting Leads $1,100-1,200 depending on role size. 12 shows total. Ensemble members will receive a $200-300 stipend depending on role size. Additional info: Callbacks October 20th (5 pm-9 pm). Note: You must be located within commuting distance of Boulder from late October through early February to participate in this show.
