About the project: A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS has devoured the hearts of theatre-goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Aladdin”) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination! Additional info: Callbacks will be TBA as needed. Show Dates: November 1st @ 7pm November 2nd @ 7pm November 3rd @ 3pm November 8th @ 7pm November 9th @ 7pm November 10th @ 3pm Those participating will be provided with an audition form to complete upon entering the theatre. Please have a list of rehearsal conflicts ready between auditions and show dates. Auditionees should prepare 16-32 bars (approximately between :45 and 1:30) of a song in the style of the show with either sheet music or a karaoke track accompaniment. Music Director will be on-hand at auditions to accompany – no a cappella music auditions allowed. Auditionees will also be asked to read from excerpts of the show. Audition sides can be provided ahead of time by request.
