Actors Needed for Movie Casting
Casting call (in person/by appointment) for “Catharsis” (film master’s program) project. Looking for cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Logline: After his brother’s death, a comedic actor replaces him in a dramatic role but must get the approval of a strict director as his guilt begins to haunt him. Additional info: A non union production. Shooting dates: November 2024 (exact dates to be announced). Actors, please apply for sides and an audition time slot. Also, if you cannot appear in-person to audition (Saturday, 9/7 5-8:30 pm*), apply to inquire about the possibility of a virtual or self-taped audition.

A distinguished director who’s dapper and clean-cut with a proper way of doing things. He’s willing to push the boundaries to get the right performances from his actors. And a cripple who exhibits a thunderous presence that makes him far more intimidating than what he appears.
Hollywood handsome actor who’s strongly built. A younger brother who acts vastly more mature for his age. And exhibits an eeriness that drives the protagonist into complete hysteria.
