"Along the Banks" Short Movie in Need of Cast
Casting select roles for 'Along the Banks' a new, romantic comedy short film. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: "A comfortable, witty homebody and a traditional celtic singer, who wears his heart on his sleeve, connect over a fleeting weekend in Chicago. Live music provides the soundtrack as they are made to wonder: is it worth risking the life you have for a shot at something special?" Rate: Stipend: $150. Additional info: Actors of color are especially encouraged to apply, but all will be considered. Read through: late September (around actors' availability). Shooting this October. Directors plan to submit to a variety of festivals, and eventually upload the film online. [Supporting] Jill's roommate- encouraging, comforting, and confident. Strong comedic timing.
[Supporting] MUST play a traditional Irish melody instrument (Fiddle, Flute, Uilleann pipes, Whistle, Bouzouki, Button Accordion) with a high level of proficiency.
