"To Catch a Witch" Feature Film Looking For Cast
Casting call for feature film "To Catch a Witch". Looking for actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: Log line: When two transport officers are brutally murdered by a teen girl, an ambitious psychiatrist and the grizzled small-town Sheriff must find and subdue the evil spirit possessing her before more townsfolk are killed. Rate: This is a “backend format” meaning that all actors and employees will be paid after the film is completed, distributed to streaming services. From there you will receive residuals accordingly until your agreed rate has been met. This is an old school method that works for indie filmmakers. Meals will be provided during the shoot. Additional info: Seeking Non- Union actors. Dates: TBA Shooting dates will be SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ONLY BETWEEN 8 TO 10 HOURS A DAY. NO HOLIDAYS. No 12 hours or longer shooting at all. This shoot is designed to stretch over the course of 6 months with shooting every other weekend. The formula director created looks like this: SHOOTING SCHEDULE: 1st and 3rd weekend of each month gives the 4 days of shooting per month. 4 days multiplied by 6 months gives a total of 24 days to shoot a feature film. The purpose for every other WEEKEND will give time to work with the editing, as well as allow all the actors and production team to prepare for the next shoot without feeling rushed each week. It’s a process designed not to burn anyone out. Actors will have plenty of time to rehearse their lines before the next shoot. VIDEO AUDITIONS ONLY: Once you have received the script for the character, you will record yourself using (phone, camera, etc.) make sure there is audio. You can read the script or memorize it – your choice. Director will be looking for those who can connect with the characters emotionally. Send the video with subject line: "Audition/Character". You will have three videos that you can send. Please send all three together in one submission/attachment. Each clip should not exceed 30 seconds. All scripts for each character will be the same for everyone. If you are reading for Jennifer, then everyone will read the exact same line for Jennifer.

(10 to 15 people). The same Vigil extras will also be used later in 2 other scenes during a party towards the end of the film as well as during a funeral session at a grave site.
