Singing Audition for "Kinky Boots" Musical
Auditions for upcoming non-equity production of the musical "Kinky Boots". Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. Rate: There is a stipend of one payment of $100. Additional info: Directors will be using British accents but don’t worry about that for submissions. They will deal with accents at callbacks. Callbacks will be held in person on Sunday, September 15 and Monday, September 16th. Rehearsals start Tuesday, October 1st and will be in the evening during the week (typically 7-10 PM) and during the day on weekends (typically 12-5 PM). The show runs from November 9th-24th for a total of 13 performances. When applying, please include a taped submission which should include your best 16 bars and a one-minute monologue (it can be comic or serious). If you have anything on tape that shows your dancing/movement skills please include it. If not, no worries. Directors will take care of that at callbacks.
