Seeking Actors for "Miracle on 34th Street" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting actors for production of "Miracle on 34th Street". More details are below. About the project: An adaptation of the classic Hollywood film. "This is a tale that we want to believe in, that creates a world we seem to desperately desire, free of the blatant commercialism that surrounds us, where love and decency and generosity of spirit are their own rewards. What we want Christmas to be all about, really". Rate: All roles are volunteer and unpaid. Additional information: Some singing will be required from some actors in a caroling-type format. If you would like to be considered for a singing role, please be prepared to sing 30 seconds of a Christmas carol of your choice, a cappella. In performance, the script will be read live on stage in radio play format, enhanced with sound, visuals, and strong characterization. Line memorization will not be required, but a strong understanding of the script will be expected. All cast are required to attend all rehearsals during tech week and all scheduled performances. Auditions will consist of cold reads from parts of the script. When applying, please submit a current headshot and resume.
