About the project: Head Over Heels is the bold new musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q, and Spring Awakening. This laugh-out-loud love story is set to the music of the iconic 1980s all-female rock band the Go-Go's, including the hit songs, "We Got the Beat," "Our Lips Are Sealed," "Vacation," Belinda Carlisle's "Heaven is a Place on Earth," and "Mad About You." A hilarious, exuberant celebration of love, HEAD OVER HEELS follows the escapades of a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction-only to discover the key to their realm's survival lies within each of their own hearts. Additional info: Please prepare a 1-minute song in the style of the show (80s pop, Go’Gos, Belinda Carlisle, or any pop song). You must provide a backing track. We will have a Bluetooth speaker you can connect to using your phone. No accompanist was provided. No acapella allowed. Rehearsals / Tech Week: Rehearsals are typically held on weeknights from 7 pm-10 pm and weekends from 2 pm-5 pm. On the audition form, you can submit all your potential conflicts. Specific rehearsal schedules will be handed out at the first rehearsal. ALL rehearsals will be held in Mansfield, Texas. ALL Tech Week rehearsals are REQUIRED (November 23-November 27) and will be held from 6 pm-11 pm at the Farr-Best Theater. Performances: Friday & Saturday, November 29 & 30 at 7:30pm Friday & Saturday, December 6 & 7 at 7:30pm Sunday, December 8 at 2:30 pm All performances are held at the Farr-Best Theater, 109 N. Main Street, Mansfield, Texas. Call times for cast and crew is 90 minutes prior to curtain. Callbacks (if needed) by invitation ONLY on Sunday, September 22nd at 2 pm. See the attachment for details. Female-presenting. Basilius and Gynecia’s younger daughter. Shy and a “good girl”, she yearns to follow her heart rather than obey her father’s orders. Range G3-B5

Female-presenting. Handmaiden to Pamela. Warm, skeptical. Growing up without a mother has made her wise beyond her years about everyone and everything, which is why she is the (sometime) narrator to the show. Range Bb3-F5
