"A Christmas Carol" Play Searching for Cast
Theatre will be holding auditions for "A Christmas Carol". Looking for actors. Please see the details below. Additional info: Directors are looking to cast 10-14 adults. This will be an ensemble cast and you may play more than one character in the play. Note: ages given are suggested ages of characters, not actors, and are flexible in many cases. The script includes a few Christmas carols and some dancing. You do not need to be an amazing singer or dancer to be in this play. This is not the musical version. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script and possibly do a little movement. They can prepare a proper English or cockney accent for auditions, but it is not required. Callbacks if needed will be held on Tuesday, September 10th from 6:30-8:30pm. The first read-through will be Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30pm. Full rehearsals starting Monday, September 23rd and running through October and beginning of November. Directors have taken fall breaks into consideration when making the schedule. Rehearsals will be 3-4 days a week, but you won’t be called every night. Performance dates are Friday, November 15th, Saturday, November 16th at 7pm and Sunday, November 17th at 2pm.
