About the project: THE STORY: This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Additional info: Please bring an actor resume and headshot to be submitted to the production crew. All those auditioning should prepare a monologue under one minute in length. Dramatic or comedic in genre is at the actor’s discretion. All actors are encouraged to audition. Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 pm, if needed. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 pm as well as Sundays from 2-5 pm beginning on October 8. Tech rehearsals will be held from Sunday, December 1 – Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Performance dates include: December 5, 2024 @ 7:30 PM December 7, 2024 @ 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM December 8, 2024 @ 2:00 PM Attendance is required for all tech and performance dates set forth.
