About the project: This short film, "A Long 44", is about a young black man in the 1970s who was wrongfully convicted of a crime where he spent four decades fighting for his freedom. Additional info: Shooting in early September. All scenes will be shot locally in Durham, NC When applying, please include your resume, headshot, name of character you are interested in, and a demo reel with your monologue of choice. Directors will also send out an excerpt/side from the script for you to audition with to see how well you fit the character. If actors would like to be in the film, but not as any of the main characters directors have options for them as well to be an extra. August 23, 2024, at 11:59pm EST is the deadline to submit!
