Performers are needed for the "42nd Street" theatre show. Please find more details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: SPT $638 weekly minimum (SPT 7) Additional info: November 12 - First Rehearsal; December 4 - Preview; December 6 - Opening; December 29 - Closing; 6 Performances per week Tuesday-Sunday. 7:30 PM Evening & 2:00 PM Matinee. All Actors must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Pursuant to current Equity guidelines, proof of full vaccination no later than two weeks prior to in-person work is a required condition of employment. Please prepare a musical selection either from the show or in the style of the show and prepare a comedic monologue of your choosing - no more than 2 minutes in length. Female presenting. A starry-eyed, naïve, and humble chorus girl who dreams of stardom. She’s an extraordinary tap dancer who can sing like a Broadway leading lady and play the ingenue believably. Mezzo/Belt.
Male presenting. High Baritone (D3–Ab4). A highly revered Broadway director, Mr. Marsh commands the room. His charisma stems from his power, and he’ll stop at nothing in his drive for success.
Female-presenting. Alto (Eb3–B4). An established Broadway star, Ms. Brock demands respect. While manipulative and guarded, she is not blind to the truth.
Male presenting. Tenor (Bb2–B4). A golden-voiced, handsome tenor, he’s the leading man of “Pretty Lady” and instantly fancies Peggy. Must tap.
Female-presenting. Alto (Ab3–Bb4). The co-author of “Pretty Lady,” Maggie is a pro and consummate problem-solver.
Male presenting. Baritone (C3–D4). Co-author of “Pretty Lady,” Bert is a clever and endearing writer, comedian, and character man.
Male presenting. Baritone (D3–Db4). He is the no-nonsense choreographer of “Pretty Lady” and trusted side man of Mr. Marsh. Must tap.
Female-presenting. Alto (Ab3–E5). A high-energy, funny, and cute chorus girl, Annie wisely sees Peggy’s potential. Must tap.
Male presenting. Baritone (D3–Eb4). A handsome former vaudevillian and Dorothy Brock’s true love interest.
Male presenting. Brock’s purported, portly love interest, Dillon is bankrolling “Pretty Lady.” Ensemble Singing.
