Seeking Additional Talent for Health Care Project Project: Multiple Videos for Internal Client Use for Healthcare Company Locations: Anticipated to be in Hampton Roads - VA Beach or Norfolk areas Usage: These videos will be for internal use only by the client for training purposes in perpetuity Dates: Week of August 5th (Must be available that entire week to audition please) Rate: Minimum $300 per talent per day. No travel or other compensation is being provided. CONTENT/TOPIC - Please be sure you are comfortable with sensitive material. These are situations that will be used for training videos internally by the client, but will involve portrayal of sensitive topics such as sexual harassment. (If you have any questions on this, please let me know!) You should consolidate any videos and send 1 submission / file via email no later than 5 pm on Friday, 7/26. (Sooner is better.) If you need wiggle room on this submission date, please let us know. We are using the scripts below for this role and you should audition using the role of CARLOS. It is preferred that you be off-book for this audition and would be great if you had a reader that you could act with! Here are the details: FOR EVERYONE: –Slate with first and last name –Provide height and weight –Auditioning for role of Mike –Give profile shots and then a full body pan THEN GO INTO THIS SCRIPT. PLEASE READ THE ROLE OF CARLOS BELOW: SCENE 2 - INT. CLINIC - BREAK ROOM - DAY We see into the break room through an open door. Ben is eating his packed lunch. He’s by himself. It looks a little sad. CARLOS strides in. The camera follows him in. CARLOS - Whatcha got today? Ben glances at Carlos and then hangs his head. BEN - Same as yesterday. CARLOS (picking up Ben’s food) - Dude. I’m telling you. You’re never gonna get huge eating this stuff. BEN - I know. I know. But my mom said, I mean. I just didn’t want it to go to waste, you know. CARLOS - (cautioning) - Stuff like this straight sabotages your goals. BEN (quietly) - I think they are more your goals than mine, but, I know what you mean. (nervously) Can I have my lunch back? CARLOS - (handing it back) - Oh yeah, sure, bro. But like I was saying yesterday, you gotta...you know...beef up a little. Ben hangs his head. BEN - Yeah. I know. CARLOS - How much do you weigh? BEN - Uh... CARLOS - Wait. Don’t tell me. Let me guess. BEN - I’d rather you not. AISHA walks into the break room to grab something out of the fridge. CARLOS - Aisha, do you think I could bench Ben? Be honest. AISHA (rolling her eyes) - Guys are so dumb. Ben is uncomfortable and gets up to put his food away and leave. CARLOS (motioning to Ben) - Come here. Ben sighs and walks over to Carlos. AISHA - What are you doing? Carlos lifts Ben off the ground for a second and then sets him down. CARLOS - 135. Maybe 140. Am I close? AISHA (walking out) - So dumb. SCENE 3 - INT. CLINIC - BREAK ROOM - INTERVIEW - DAY Ben looks humiliated. Doesn’t make much eye contact with the camera. BEN - There wasn’t really time to go to the gym when I was in nursing school. I wish Carlos would just drop it. He keeps embarrassing me in front of the other nurses. FADE OUT.
