Jane, 18, is a young woman living at the apartment complex with Donny and Kevin. She believes herself to be deeper and more complex than other girls her age. She dresses all in black, listens to alternative rock, reads sad girl novels and chain smokes cigarettes. All of which are elements she's acquired in an effort to cultivate a sense of identity as she enters adulthood.
Tim, 28, is a bachelor living at the apartment complex. He's the quintessential image of masculinity. Fit, rugged, handy, and confident with an all-American kind of charm. He spends most of his time polishing and refining his favorite assets: his body and his ride, a source of much pride and success. Nothing does more to validate his masculinity than the adoration of attrac- tive women.
