Audition for Spec Commercial Project "Edna's Cocktails"

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are looking for cast to play roles in a spec commercial project called "Edna's Cocktails". More details are below. About the project: It’s a hot, sunny day in 1950 and the Carmine’s are throwing their first pool party of the summer. The frame is full of vibrant colours, bringing the lively atmosphere to life. Yellow and purple umbrellas dot the side of the pool, creating soft patches of shade. A few people leisurely float in the sparkling blue water, while others mingle in the corner. The back doors to the house dramatically swing open, and we cut to someone carrying a tray laden with elegant cocktail glasses The tray glides past a woman tanning in a red bathing suit, her silver tanning tray reflecting the sunlight. A Paloma, garnished with a slice of grapefruit, is placed on the table next to her. She takes a sip through the curvy straw, and in her sunglasses we catch the reflection of a guest serenely floating in the pool. In the pool, guests are blissfully floating on their yellow ring inflatables. One guest takes a sip out of their Collin’s drink, when suddenly a rogue croquet ball splashes next to the inflatable. The culprit? Two teenagers absorbed in their lawn game. One of them glances over with an apologetic smile before taking a more precise shot. The teens cheers their Mojito glasses, and in the background we zoom in to a couple barbecuing. The cook flips a hot dog, while his friend vigorously shakes a cocktail shaker. Out pours a perfectly mixed Mule into a waiting cocktail glass. The drink slides across a patio table, interrupting a game of cards. A young girl reaches for the glass, but an older man across from her raises an eyebrow. She drinks it anyways. We end on the product shot of Edna’s cans, revealing they are non-alcoholic, with the lively pool party in the background. Rate: Non-union. Volunteer, food will be provided.
