"Night of the Living Dead" Play Casting Actors
Seeking cast for "Night of the Living Dead". Please see the breakdown below. About the project: "Fallout from a satellite probe to Venus returns to Earth carrying a mysterious radiation that transforms the dead into flesh-eating zombies. Seven people trapped in an isolated farmhouse, held hostage by the ravenous ghouls, begin to turn on each other as the dead encroach. The terror-filled play brings the fright of the cult classic to life." Additional info: What to Prepare: All participants auditioning for a speaking role will need to prepare the Ben Monologue as well as choose either the News Anchor Monologue or the Radio Monologue. Memorization is not required, though directors would be highly impressed. Please also be prepared to read for ANY character for Scene Work (both male and female). Please see the document attached. SENSORY WARNING: This production contains loud noises and bright lights. Actors should be prepared to be touched, lifted, carried, and to get up and down from the floor. The Coopers' daughter (can be cast as a son). Very sick.
Younger man who loves Judy. Wants to be helpful and work toward freedom.
Younger woman who loves Tom. Helpful to Helen by watching over Karen.
