Audition For Singing in "Cinderella"
Auditions for "Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella". Directors are looking for actors, please see the details below. Rate: $615 weekly minimum. Additional info: Prepare a short song in the style of the show. Bring sheet music in your key, an accompanist will be provided but will not transpose. Bring headshot and resume stapled back to back. Callbacks, if warranted, will be on the same day. Callbacks will include dance and/or cold readings. Rehearsals Start: September 30, 2024; Show Opens: October 11, 2024; Show Closes: October 27, 2024. Is a young lady with the kindest heart in the kingdom. She dreams of escaping her endless chores so she might one day see the world. Soprano.
Prince Charming. Needs a bit of guidance and inspiration to realize his full potential.Baritone.
The Prince’s father. A bit of a fuddy-duddy who loves his son and wife, and always has the best of intentions. Baritone.
Mezzo-Soprano. Fairy Godmother - Fairy Godmother to Cinderella. Warm with a spark of wackiness, she lifts the magic in the show and highlights what is possible. Queen - The Prince’s lovely mother. Always wants the best for her son and does her best to keep her husband in line. At times serious, but always affectionate.
One of Cinderella’s stepsisters. A brash, bratty young woman, who never passes up the opportunity to be the center of attention. Not particularly bright. Mezzo-Soprano.
One of Cinderella’s stepsisters. An obnoxious, self-centered, goofy young woman with a fatuous laugh and, unfortunately, little signs of intelligence. Mezzo- Soprano.
Ella’s evil stepmother, a vain and tyrannical woman only concerned with her wealth and her daughters’ happiness. She does not consider Ella, her stepdaughter, a true daughter. Mezzo-Soprano.
