Casting Talents for 'Bleed' Short Crime/Drama Film
Local filmmaker casting for a short crime/drama film being shot in Okotoks, AB on Friday, July 19th. Logline: "When his older brother is killed after an attempted gas station robbery, Mike sets out to even the score against Sonny, the store owner who killed him. However, Sonny has his own family to fight for, leading the two into a tense confrontation over right and wrong, pain and loss, and life or death." This film is inspired by some of my favourite Neo-Realism and Crime projects such as Good Time, Red Rocket, and This Is England. I am looking for three actors to fulfill these roles: - Male Co-Lead: Early 20’s - Male Co-Lead: 40’s to 60’s - Female Supporting: Early 20’s This is a Non-Union/Non-Paid gig, however food and gas compensation will be provided. Sonny is a store owner who is making local headlines for killing the man who attempted to rob him. A silent but stern man, Sonny will do anything to protect his family, even if it means going to extreme lengths.
The calm and caring girlfriend of Mike. Sadie is the voice of reason to Mike, but struggles to reach him after his brother's death
