Actors Audition for a Short Film "Dinner's Here"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast to portray roles in "Dinner's Here" film. More details are below. About the project: Synopsis: Darcy arrives at a secluded house at night to deliver a pizza to her estranged family. Helena invites her inside and locks the door behind her. Urged to check on one of the sons in the basement, Darcy hesitates as unsettling moans and groans sound from below. Venturing into the darkness, she discovers dark figures lurking within, setting off a chain of unsettling events that unravel the true nature of her family. Rate: Union/Non-Union. Darcy is a single mother of three who delivers pizzas for a living. She smiles a lot and stays pretty quiet. People assume it's because she's a little meek, but she's a hunter waiting to pounce.
Helene is a widow living with her two grown sons. She seems like a nice old lady, but she's really tough underneath and no one questions her. She's the dominant force in her home.
Clyde is quiet, but giggles a lot and repeats things often; a remnant of his childhood of his mother telling him to repeat what she told him and he maliciously complied. It's his own way of having some control of his situation.
Bob is extremely hyperactive. He's non-verbal. He will run around the home making sound, but won't speak, so his mother doesn't yell at him. He tries to control his situation much like Clyde, but isn't as brave to speak words out loud.
