Jr. Content Creator for Social Media and Events

Additional information: Your Roles and Responsibilities will include: · Writing, reviewing, editing and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials and similar platforms · Conducting research and interview to learn more about current trends, development and perceptions about the subject matter and then contextualizing your findings. · Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials. · Using social media to engage consumers, respond to questions and to promote company initiatives. · Provide general support for various events, helping set up and take down promotional materials, working the event and gathering content. · Collaborating with internal department to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks and identify and solve problems. · Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic. · Suggestion new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers. Jr. Content Creator. Specific daily management within the company: · Creating, editing and publishing video content, liaising with bakeries to organise and shoot content; · Scheduling social media content for the month; · Responding to DM’s, comments and engaging with the community on social media; · Creating social stories and sharing; · Identifying influencers and social trends that could work for the Crave brand, presenting to the team and then executing on approved ideas; · Content idea generation for social platforms. The company is looking for someone who: · Loves cupcakes, cookies, cakes and the Crave brand as much as directors do. · Loves to engage with people online and in person. · Super organized, detail-oriented, and takes initiative. · Is motivated, excited to learn, ability to work autonomously in a dynamic team. · Has strong interpersonal skills as well as written and visual communication skills required. · Can plan, develop, and execute multiple projects in a timely manner. · Is confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. · 1 year experience in content creation, based in Calgary. · Has or currently working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in the marketing and or related industry.
