About the project: LOGLINE: A twenty-something geek, dumped by his girlfriend, uses a new app that combines a ride-share trip with a blind date – but must cope with the app’s startling and perilous choices. SYNOPSIS: When a sincere but goofy twenty-something gets unceremoniously dumped by his girlfriend, he calls a ride-share to get home. The driver offers him a new, free experience -- a ride-share “Date” program that chooses a companion to ride with him. He agrees, and the app chooses a gorgeous partner who seems to want to immediately seduce him. He “goes for it” but is angrily rejected. The driver reveals she wrongly activated a “Gig” app – his “date” is actually a professional masseuse. As the driver furiously tries to cancel the app, she inadvertently summons a series of outrageous Gig workers. When the crazy experience ends, the driver and her passenger discover they have much in common and are probably meant for each other. SUPPORTING. Jordan’s soon-to-be former girlfriend. An attractive personal assistant to a wealthy couple. Self-absorbed and selfish, she was initially attracted to Jordan because of his sweet disposition, generosity and thoughtfulness. Now that she’s in the orbit of high achievers, she’s decided to move on.
SUPPORTING. “Personal Service Worker” for Jordan. Calls herself “California’s Least Known But Best Extreme Makeover Expert.” She loves living life out loud, and her creations reflect this; they tend towards the -- how-shall-we-say? -- flamboyant.
SUPPORTING . “Personal Service Worker” for Jordan. A bit too excitable for her age. She’s been in the Personal Waxing/Hair Removal Industry most of her life. She loves helping young people look their best – they’re almost like her own kids to her.
SUPPORTING. “Personal Service Worker” for Jordan. In middle management at Lockheed Martin. He tells himself that his BDSM interests are to help others and make a little extra cash. His favorite part is the surprise reveal of his DOM character to new clients. Well – actually, that’s his SECOND favorite part.
