Audition for Musical "Young Frankenstein"

About the project: Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds. Rate: This is a non-equity, volunteer community theater production. There is no pay. Additional info: Show Dates: October 11th-27th Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 pm Sunday performances at 2 pm Callbacks by invitation Wednesday, August 21st, 7-10 pm. For auditions, please bring your headshot, resume, and sheet music for provided accompanist. You will need to sing a 16-32 bar cut of a musical song in the style of the show. Rehearsals begin Saturday, August 24th, and will take place Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. Availability is required for tech week, October 5th-10th. Please apply if interested.
