Student Short Film "Dead Opposites" Need Cast
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Currently looking for actors for a Horror/Comedy Student Short Film "Dead Opposites". More details are below. About the project: Synopsis: Mike and Dawn are a couple moving in together despite having only been dating for a short while. She's a romantic, he likes her, but Mike has a problem. His roommate, Baron, is quite the odd one. He sleeps all day and works the graveyard shift, hates garlic, only eats raw meat and cannot bear to go to church. Mike is suspicious, but Dawn is hopeful, and through befriending him do they find out the dark secret in question: Baron is an immigrant! This does not go over well with Mike and only one of them will be able to remain in the apartment after this. Rate: Non-union. Unpaid. Catering, craft service, IMDB credit, and demo reel footage provided. Additional information: Filming in Vancouver on 27th and 28th of July. Self-tapes due by July 16th. A ray of sunshine that lives to her name, Dawn is a happy and hopeful romantic. Perhaps a bit too quick to jump into new things, to fall in love and make big decisions without thinking. She might be a bit naive, and is too keen to give almost anyone a chance. That is not to say she does not have her limits.
Baron is a vampire and an immigrant, but he is not a bad guy. He is just trying to make his life work away from home, but is a bit of an awkward introvert which takes a while to really know and makes him a bit suspicious to some. He is vegan by vampire standards, as in he only eats dead meat.
A macho dude type guy. Moving in with his new girlfriend, he is uneasy that his weirdo of a roommate might end up ruining their relationship. Mike is suspicious of Baron, but hesitantly willing to entertain Dawn's attempts to befriend him. He seems harmless enough at first glance, but his suspicions towards his roommate betrays a nastier attitude beneath.
