Casting Call for "Frankenstein" Play
Looking for male and female performers for the "Frankenstein" show. Please see the details below. Additional info: Record a monologue of your choice, preferably in the accent described in the character roles. (note: for the Ewan and Rab characters, a Scottish accent is mandatory). A highly intelligent man of science; creates the creature to his regret. Is engaged to marry Elizabeth.
Attractive, intelligent fiancée of Victor. Attends to William, Victor’s much younger brother.
A blind man living with his son and daughter in-law, he befriends the creature and teaches him literary and life lessons.
The daughter in-law of De Lacey and wife of Felix, she’s attentive to De Lacey and loves Felix.
The son of De Lacey. He and his wife Agatha are trying to make a new life in the country.
The father of Victor and William, he is a highly aristocratic man of Geneva.
Two Roles: Clarice is the maidservant to Elizabeth; Gretel is a prostitute who encounters the creature.
Two Roles: Ewan is a crofter and graverobber and uncle to Rab; Gustav is a vagabond and companion to Klaus. (**Ewan MUST have a Scottish accent).
Two roles: Rab is nephew to Ewan and reluctant graverobber; Klaus is the travelling companion to Gustav. (** Rab MUST have a Scottish accent).
Non-Speaking Role: Modelesque figure, must be comfortable in a body suit.
