Professional Casting for "Allure" Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Directors are currently in need of cast for production of "Allure". More details are below. About the project: "Allure" is a LGBTQ+ romance/mystery film with a touch of Lovecraftian horror. Centering on the blossoming romance between grieving, anxious and book worm student Dakota and charismatic, occult loving and mysterious student Lily. When Lily goes missing and Dakota is suspected to have something to do with the disappearance, it sends her into a spider's web of lies and half truths. Rate: Allure is a student-made feature film. As such, it is non-union and unpaid at this time. Additional information: Shooting will take place from the start of August to the end of October in the Victoria area, on weekends and occasional weekday mornings (subject to actor availability). Allure is a feature-length film if selected you are committing to a multi-month-long production. UVic students and those with little to no acting experience are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be accepted until Friday July 5th at 11:59PM. Submissions should take the form of a link to an unlisted YouTube video, Vimeo video, etc. Feel free to include links to your other work/acting reel, but know that they may not be viewed. Files (MP4, MOV, etc.) attached to emails will not be viewed. Please make sure the subject line conforms to the following format: "CHARACTER NAME - Actor First Name Actor Last Name". Please begin by slating with your name, height and who you will be auditioning for. Auditions will be accepted for a maximum of TWO roles by one actor. A recent widower trying to survive. Dakota’s dad doesn’t always know how to connect with his daughter, but his heart is in the right place. He’s lovable, a bit of a goofball, cracks dad jokes to try to lighten the mood and probably cries when Dakota’s not home.
Height: 5’2 - 5’6. The kind of girl who makes you insecure about things you didn't even know someone could be insecure about. Power and control of anyone around her is necessary to escape the fact that she probably peaked in high school.

No bullshit. The truth is what matters. They tell themselves that their sympathy is just an act to get more information out of their suspects. Who knows if that's true, or just a lie to make staring at someone you're putting away for twenty years easier.
Absolutely has at least one or two bodies hidden underneath the floorboards. Though they probably can't remember due to their brain being basically Swiss cheese, from old age or the copious amounts of shrooms they did in the 60s.
