About the project: The short film tells the story of a recent graduate, XX, who goes through a period of confusion after graduation, searching for a job and eventually finding employment at a Chinese company. The Chinese boss owes her money but refuses to pay. She tries various means, including seeking help from the labor bureau and participating in protests, to reclaim what is rightfully hers, depicting the challenging journey to seek justice. Rate: Compensation based on acting skills. Additional information: Film Length: 15 minutes. Film Genre: Drama, Realism. Filming Location: Toronto. Filming Time: August 2024-February 2025 (filming across seasons). MUST have acting skills. Professional actors, please bring your portfolio; non-professionals, audition in public.
