Second round casting call for “The Bird Flies” no-budget feature length movie. Seeking actors for supporting roles. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: ‘A mechanic is tired working for jerks, he quits his job on the spot and takes up a life of crime to support his new family’ Genre: Drama/Comedy Rate: Unpaid. A fun laid back guy who you might want to play catch with if you could get over your fathers death. One day shoot, July 11th 5:30pm call time. Five page scene shared with four characters.
Makes her money by her charm. Non-speaking role, but do not be fooled, this a highly pivotal character to the story, one that will be remembered as much as any other character. Two day shoot, June 30th 11am-4pm, July 1st 5:30pm-10pm. There will be no waiting around, once you are there, you will be utilized, and the shoots might even go by faster than mentioned as they are completely visual storytelling and shot in natural light.
Tallish. Drives a nice muscle car. He is the bad guy who fights our protagonist at a bar. One page of dialogue + much visual story telling. Two day shoot, July 13th/14th.
Therapist. Highly pivotal character. One shoot date, multiple wardrobe changes, four pages of dialogue between her and her client.
One of the guys. Fun, out going. Tells decent jokes. Shooting July 13th, 14th, 24th, 25th. Has quite a few lines.
