Audition for Movie "The Luckiest Man Alive"
Casting day players and extras for "The Luckiest Man Alive," a small independent short film production. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Synopsis: Imagine getting to tie the knot with your lifelong crush. You must be pretty lucky, right? After a lifetime of being head over heels for Chelsey, Caden finally gets to spend forever with her, making him the luckiest man alive. Rate: $30 for the day, meal provided. When it's finished, credit and a copy of the film will be given. Extras will not be paid, but will receive a meal and credit. Additional info: Non union. Each character will be needed for one workday, separated by Wedding Day and Park Day. Filming will take place for two days during the weekend of July 19th-22nd (dates TBD, likely July 19th and 20th), with 5—to 10-hour work days. Directors are seeking locals or people willing to work as locals. While crying will not be required for the audition, they are looking for actors who are able to cry on camera. Mother of the Bride, able to cry and sob (one line). Will be needed for Wedding Day.
Maid of Honor, Bride's Best friend. Trembling in tears (one monologue). Full speech is provided in slides. The role will have the option of reading off-script during the scene. Will be needed for Wedding Day.
Frat guy, Best Man, and best friend of the Groom. Broken down, trembling. Full speech is provided in slides. The role will have the option of reading off-script during the scene. Will be needed for Wedding Day.
Father of the Groom, crippling in tears. The role will have the option of reading off-script during the scene. Full speech is provided in slides. Will be needed for Wedding Day.
Must be comfortable with receiving mouth-to-mouth. The actor must also be comfortable being around a fake snake toy. A real non-venomous snake will be on set but will not be present around the actors. Needed for Park Day.

Seeking 25 extras for a wedding/funeral scene. Extras will need to come dressed in wedding-appropriate attire, suits, dresses, any kind of outfit you’d wear if you were to attend a wedding. Extras will not be paid but will fed and will receive credit. If you are able to cry, that would be a bonus. Needed for the wedding day.
