Seeking Dancers for VA Lottery Project
Virginia Lottery “Shine On” Dancers Casting Call 6.11.24 Non-Union Location: Richmond, VA Shoot Dates: 7/2/24 and 7/3/24 Looking for dancers/performers of all ethnicities, genders, ages over 18 that have skills in any of the following: Modern Dancers Swing Dancers Salsa Dancers Break Dancers Ballet Dancers Hip Hop Dancers Aerial Dancers Skateboarders Skate Dancers Rollerbladers Muralists Street Artists Construction Worker/Dancer Usage: All media including but not limited to Broadcast and Radio (regional), Internet, Social Media, New Media/ In App, OTT/Streaming, Industrial, PR, Cinema, Internal. Broadcast TV for Virginia Only, Geo-gated on streaming platforms, Worldwide for internet by nature of the medium. Term: 3 months from 1st use (air dates currently scheduled for 9.08.2024-10.31.2024) ; with the exception of social media and third party non-downloadable sites , PR, Editorial, Agency and/or Client reels and award show use, where term is perpetuity for client owned websites and social property / passively in feed including YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok. Rates: –Hero Dancer: $1,250 (includes rehearsal, session for 2 shoot days and usage) –Featured Dancer: $400 (includes rehearsal, session for 1 shoot day and usage) - some dancers MAY be booked for 2 days. –Dancing Extra: $250 / day (includes rehearsal, and shoot day/ buyout) Exclusivity: N/A Travel: Hotel and mileage available for those who qualify based on distance. Renewal Option: - An additional non-consecutive 2nd one-year term at a 10% increase on the original buyout/usage fee. - An additional non-consecutive 3rd one-year term at 10% increase on the 2nd one-year term usage fee. EXTRAS usage covered is in perpetuity. NOTE: Talent MUST be available on 7/1/24 for rehearsal as well. Callbacks: Wednesday June 19th (in-person preferred, zoom also an option) Submission and Self Tape Directions: –Slate / Introduce yourself –Tell us where in VA you currently live and if you’d like to be considered for travel expenses –Tell us about your dance experience –Tell us if you have any specialty dance skills –Show us your moves! Get loose and have fun - we want to see you dance. Send 1 self-tape file via WeTransfer email by Sunday, June 16th at 10am. If you need wiggle room on your submission, please let us know. Your file should be labeled with your first and last name (example John-Doe). Please do not include any other materials with your self-tape. If your availability changes after you submit, please let us know ASAP.

20 - 35, female or female identifying Director’s note: Our Hero talent starts by leaving work for the day and joining a bustling Main St. They are early 30's, creative, have a unique style and a wide dance background. All body types and ethnicities are welcome. *Must be over 18 years of age and must be a current Virginia resident.*
Directors note: We need a variety of different groups of people. We will be casting dancers in every role. Free stylin' construction workers, break dancin' bus drivers, skater acrobatics / back flippers, modern ballet, muralists, as well as business people, and joggers with dogs. We need a wonderful variety of ages / ethnicities and body types and dancing styles. While still being able to follow choreography as well.
