About the project: SYNOPSIS: Beautiful is the inspiring tale about a girl who became King with a stirring book by the late Oscar and Tony-nominated Douglas McGrath and the music and lyrics of icons Carole King, Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. Featuring such unforgettable classics as "You've Got a Friend", "One Fine Day", "So Far Away", "Take Good Care of My Baby", "Up on the Roof", "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling", "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", and "Natural Woman", this Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning musical phenomenon is filled with the songs you remember and a story you'll never forget. Rate: A small stipend will be paid based on opening night sales. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: 16-32 Bars in the style of the show. Women auditioning for Carole King must sing one of her songs. Callbacks (by invitation only) Wednesday, July 10th @ 7pm. Rehearsals will begin Sunday, July 14th, 2024. Rehearsal Days: Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays (Please Note: there may be some Tues and Thurs nights occasionally. And please expect nightly rehearsal from Oct 7th until show opens.) Performance Dates: October 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 31st, Nov 1st, 2nd.
