Seeking Actors For New Drama Series “Return of LaSelle”
Casting for new drama series entitled “Return of LaSelle”. In search of actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: Concept: After running from her dark and twisted past for nearly five years, LaSelle returns to the city of Nashville, TN to face her demons. Rate: Paid. Additional info: Directors are currently accepting video submissions before they decide the in-person auditions. Shooting will begin August 2024-Winter 2024. (Bi-racial or African American). LaSelle is the protagonist of the series. LaSelle grew up in Nashville with her mother and her best friend Christine. LaSelle left for college five years ago, and finally returns with a degree in Biology. LaSelle is very kind, but has dealt with many bad experiences in Nashville. She returns to face her past and unresolved demons.
(Tattoos are a plus, dark black hair is a plus). Christine is the best friend of LaSelle. Christine is very edgy and loves artistic things. Christine and LaSelle’s relationship has been rough ever since she left without saying goodbye. Christine is also the oldest of five siblings.
Pattie is the mother of LaSelle. Pattie and LaSelle had a very close relationship in the past but after an incident with her father, things changed drastically. Pattie is a very tough loving mother, and truly stands for family first.
Shells is the mother of Christine. Shells is not your typical mother as she is described as a cougar. Shells still loves to party, and always act like a friend more than a mother to her kids.
Wesley is a friend of LaSelle, and a resident in Nashville. He works at The Turnip Trunk, and soon begins dating Christine. Wesley is very laid back and a romantic guy. Wesley is funny as well.
(Muscular, athletic). Jason is the ex-boyfriend of LaSelle. Jason is very attractive and knows that LaSelle will always have a place in his heart. Jason is very respectful and tends to be labeled as “The Good Guy”.
(Bald or will have to be okay shaving head). Bobby Lee is the uncle of Christine and the love interest of Shells. Bobby is very wise and humble to the Dixon family. After the death of Christine’s father, Bobby decided to step in to take the place of his brother. Bobby is currently fighting cancer.
