Acting Audition for "Written in Blood" Feature Film

Lead – generally average height and build. He is generally happy and playful, and we watch his life as it is thrown into complete chaos and physical and mental destruction – sometimes devolving into a frantic crying mess. This is an emotionally demanding role.

The one who gets kidnapped. Generally jovial and sarcastic, we also see her throughout the movie through flashbacks in various settings – NO NUDITY – no sex scenes at all. Just flashbacks of better times, holding hands, hugs, etc.

Physically fit – he is Ethan’s best friend and manager. He is a bachelor, attractive, and works out a lot – not specifically looking for Chris Evans or Anthony Mackie level of fitness, but generally can tell he works out. We actually only see him a handful of times.

Skinny build, shoulder length hair that we are gonna “ugly up”. He is the bad guy we follow. We can never tell if he is happy or angry, or the happiness is simply masking the fact that he is about to strike – he’s psychotic. We only see him a handful of times, and when we do, he will be memorable in a twisted way.

He is an online researcher for Ethan, as well as his trusted beta-reader. He gets caught up in this by accident – the only one the kidnapper doesn’t know about, so his help is scrambling for info, and above all – secret! Positive outlook kinda guy, and his role is entirely over the web and the phone - so his entire performance can be done in 1 single day, 2 at the most, completely separate from the rest of the cast.

Actually looking for a woman who is a bit taller – 5’ 6”-ish or higher, and tough. Untrusting and sarcastic, she expects the worst of people because (in her job) she has rarely been disappointed. A deadpan demeanor where you can never really tell where you stand with her… Going to be needed 5 or 6 days in the schedule.

He/she is a bookworm, good at their job, and happy with themselves that they figured something out that was weird and well hidden. He/she doesn’t worry much about their appearance – they’re the job.

Jeffrey Batista’s mother – She is emotionally worn out, and just wants it all to be over. 1 short scene, but very emotional.
