Movie Role in Upcoming Production
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Currently looking for some actors for a feature-length Indie slasher film. Please, see the details below. About the project: Logline: A detective investigates a massacre that befell a group of friends who were more connected than they thought. Rate: Non union. 100$ per day. Actors will be staying in cottages on set, and all meals will be covered. Directors are happy to provide footage from the film for any demo reels. Additional information: Shooting dates: August 6th-9th 2024. Location: Port Severn. The shooting location is outside of Toronto, if you need help getting to the location directors may be able to provide logistics. Looking for two male-presenting characters and two female-presenting characters. The film is a slasher flick and will be tons of fun. When applying, please submit your resume and self tape/demo reel.

A well-dressed woman in her mid-50s. She cares about her daughter but in a strange way. She is more concerned about her daughter having a good life if she is still alive than actually making sure her daughter is in fact, alive. She is accustomed to throwing money at her problems and has no problem throwing an obscene amount of money at a private investigator to find her daughter so the police don’t get involved.
A tomboy in her late teens/early twenties. She’s getting ready to go to college this coming semester and is on one final camping trip with her friends before they all move away. She’s the one that drives the teens up to the cabin. Wears flannel and jeans when they arrive.
A young man in his late teens/early twenties, decently in shape, but also lazy. Spends part of the drive to the woods sleeping instead of talking to everyone else. Reads a book after the camp is set up instead of drinking beer like Charlie and Nat. Wears a hoodie and sweats and generally is more laid back than the others in the group.
A handsome young man in his late teens/early twenties. The only member of the group of teenagers not going to college, despite being offered a football scholarship to multiple schools. He’s the one who forgets the key to the cabin but remembers to pack beer and hot dogs. He is also completely oblivious to Nat having a crush on him. Wears jeans, boots, and a tank top with a long sleeve shirt over it.
