Voiceover talent is needed for "Covenant: Way of the Ancient Heart" Audio Drama. Please find the details below. About the project: “Covenant: Way of the Ancient Heart” is an audio drama centered around 3 young women who have had their lives ripped away from them, and their journey to realizing their own strength through an all-women covenant; the Heartsisters. Through perseverance, intense training, and determination, Nineve, Pheia, and Cedar all learn under the leadership of Lady Gwendolyn and her covenant and take revenge against the Dark Wyld Kingdom once and for all. Length: Ten ~30-minute episodes. Rate: Flat rate, $7 USD/$5 USD per episode appearance. INDIE BUDGET; KEEP THIS IN MIND. Additional info: Audition Deadline: May 17th, 2024, 11:59 pm PST. See the attachment for the sides. Recording Location/Period: Remote; live directed over Discord. Guidelines: You must have Discord in order to be live-directed for this project. Please record in ABCABC format. AA BB CC format will not be accepted. You may record up to 3 takes per line. No more than 3, please. You may submit your files as MP3 or wav. Please label your audio files as “CharacterName_YourName”; e.g.: “Nineve_AddigaleStewart”. Main Character. Black/African American POC only. ($7 Per Ep.) Nineve is a new initiate into the Ancient Heart Covenant. Human descent. She comes from a small village that was raided by the Dark Wyld Champions. She is highly curious, fearful under pressure, but intensely loyal to her allies.
Main Character. Only trans women may audition. ($7 Per Ep.) Pheia is a new initiate into the Ancient Heart Covenant. Harpy descent. Pheia is soft-spoken and shy, but has incredible intelligence. She only wants to help and heal others, and is very pacifistic.
Main Character. Only NB people may audition. ($7 Per Ep.) Cedar is a new initiate into the Ancient Heart Covenant. Human descent. Cedar is a doer. They cannot bear to stand still for too long, and being a natural rapscallion, they bide their time only to be aggressively mischievous.
Main Character. Only trans women may audition. ($7 Per Ep.) Kearis trains Nineve, Pheia, and Cedar in combat. An excellent teacher, but can appear cold or merciless. She has brutal scars from all the times she defended her sisters in battle. She is one of the first warriors of the Heartsisters, and takes her loyalty extremely seriously.
Main Character. Only NB people may audition. ($7 Per Ep.) The scout and falconist of the Heartsisters. Very intimidating, broad shouldered, with fangs. Despite that, they do their best to be a guiding force for others, even if they are a bit socially awkward.
Main Character. Leads the Heartsisters. As the leader, she has become a Valkyrie (a Human who ascended to angelhood). She is a kind and just leader, and is very friendly.
Supporting Character. ($5 Per Ep.) Healer of the Heartsisters. Is tough on others, and surprisingly not particularly warm or welcoming. Impatient and serious. High-medium pitch.
Supporting Character. ($5 Per Ep.) Morcan is a playful and hardworking apprentice, who is optimistic and sweet. Every once in a while, she comes across a bit too loud and exuberant, and can accidentally be inconsiderate of people’s personal space. She specializes in thrown and long range weaponry.
Supporting Character. ($5 Per Ep.) Lex is the stealth specialist of the Heartsisters. She is incredibly self confident and a little snarky, but helpful to her core.
Supporting Character. (Shadow Man) [he/him] ($5 Per Ep.) Prince Kalohex of the Dark Wyld Kyngdom, otherwise known to his adversaries as the “Shadow Man.” Horrifically evil, and next in line for the throne of the Dark Wyld Kyngdom.
Supporting Character. ($5 Per Ep.) Kalohex’s son, and general of the Dark Wyld raiders. Prideful, gluttonous, and striving to be as evil as his father. Overconfident.
Supporting Character. He is mixed. Mixed POC preferred! ($5 Per Ep.) The baker who resides in Nineve’s village. Fiercely caring.
Supporting Character. ($5 Per Ep.) A villager saved by the Heartsisters who joins the Covenant. Is the fraternal twin brother to Sorrel. Helps the main characters train.
