Acting Audition for NBC's “Mr. Throwback” TV Show

About the project: Steph Curry’s show will begin filming in the Chicago, Illinois area. NBC / Peacock has greenlit a basketball-themed show called “Mr. Throwback,” and described as a mockumentary comedy with NBA star Steph Curry and Adam Pally. NBC announced the show which is brought by “Happy Endings” creator David Caspe and writers Matthew Libman and Daniel Libman. The series is created and executive produced by David Caspe, along with the Libman brothers, Adam Pally, Steph Curry, and Unanimous Media’s Erick Peyton. Peacock’s “Mr. Throwback,” will be joining beloved mockumentaries like “The Office” and “Parks and Recreation” available on the streaming platform. In “Mr. Throwback,” a struggling memorabilia dealer seeks redemption by reconnecting with his former sixth-grade teammate, NBA legend Steph Curry. Rate: Pay rate is $176/8. Additional info: Filming begins May 6th and runs through June 13th. The casting team do not have the specific dates a stand in or photo double will be needed, nor the frequency of how often you'd be working.
