Creative Social Content Editor to Produce Reels & TikToks

Directors are currently looking for a Freelance (Junior) Social Content Editor/Videographer (Part Time) passionate about crafting short-form videos like Reels and TikToks. Please, see the details below. Rate: $20-$25/hr. Additional information: Location: Toronto (mostly remote work). You'll primarily work with existing and stock footage, but you’ll also capture new scenes around Toronto. This role is perfect for someone who excels at video editing and understands how to leverage trending sounds and visuals to maximize engagement. Key Responsibilities: Produce at least 10 compelling Reels/TikToks per month. Approximately 80% of this role time is editing from existing and stock footage, focusing on roundups and informational posts. About 20% of this role is dedicated to filming fresh content around Toronto. Use basic motion graphics, color correction, and audio mastering to enhance the videos. Skills and Qualifications: - Strong video editing skills and some videography experience, particularly for social media platforms. - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve (or CapCut). - Ability to incorporate text animations and perform basic audio and color adjustments. - A good understanding of current trends on social media/Instagram, including trending sounds and themes. - Previous experience in travel and lifestyle content creation is a plus.
