Casting male talent for a dystopian student film, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: The story follows the aftermath of a deceptively promised safety from a dictator leaving citizens vulnerable to World War III, unravelling a tale of survival, greed, and betrayal. Rate: All roles are unpaid but include lunch, snacks, and notable film credit. Non-Union preferred. Additional info: Shooting is set for August 26th-30th with reshoot days on August 31st and September 1st in the Greater Boston Area. Rehearsals July-August. Please apply if interested.

An aging dictator, once adored by people, leads his country to the meaningless and bloody war and slowly fades away in the bunker. At his peak, he was powerful and strong. He is cold-hearted and has no value of human life, being from a military background. Created with the following real-life figures in mind: Stalin, Pinochet, Putin.
A descendant of a military family. He is a privileged, powerful man who treats his people as tools to achieve a goal rather than individuals. He took the Mr Steel’s right-hand man duties after his father’s death. He is loyal and will do anything for Mr Steel. Anything.
A naive and righteous young man, who joined an army for a social lift to support his mother. However, being brainwashed since a very young age, he is loyal to Mr. Steel’s cause and he truly believes that he is saving people in the war. But life in the bunker will challenge his beliefs.
A traumatized victim of Mr. Steel’s regime. As a person from occupied territory, he was broken by the government officials and lost his family which led him to becoming a closed, scared and selfish human being. His only goal is survive. And if he wants to survive, he needs to obey.
