Audition for "Oliver" The Musical. Looking for singers and dancers. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please prepare: A 60-second monologue in the style of the show; accents not needed but preferred 32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show that best showcases your ability. When selecting your monologue and song, please choose contrasting pieces, to best show off your range. Please bring: Sheet music in the correct key with cuts marked. An accompanist will be provided. No acapella or accompaniment tracks, please. If available an acting resume, headshot, and completed audition form. Please wear easy-to-move-in clothing as there is a dance audition too. Callbacks will be held on Monday, April 29th, at 6:30 pm. Rehearsals will be held beginning May 10th on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6-8 pm. Until June 3rd, directors will add in Tuesday and start rehearsing from 6-9 pm. No rehearsals will be held on Memorial Day or July 4th. Performances will be held July 19–27: July 19 at 7:30 pm; July 20 at 7:30 pm; July 21 at 2:30 pm; July 26 at 7:30 pm; July 27 at 7:30 pm; July 28 at 2:30 pm. If interested, please apply.
