Performers Needed for Upcoming Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for the upcoming production. See the details below. Additional information: All actors will be operating the Frog puppet at various times. Actors of all genders are encouraged to apply for all roles. Actors will be asked to prepare a monologue from the play and submit a self-tape no later than May 5th, 2024. All actors will be asked to prepare the same monologue. Those chosen for a call-back will be asked to prepare further sides. Call-backs may be in person in Regina or via zoom the week of May 13-17 depending upon availability. There is not currently a script available to read ahead of time, but the story is based off of The Princess and the Frog Grimm’s fairy tale. The play is written mainly in verse. Rehearsal/Production: Rehearsals will begin in earnest in June. The schedule will be negotiated once the actors’ schedules are known. Possible early rehearsals in late May depending upon availability. Production is during the Regina International Fringe Festival July 10-14, 2024.
