Performers For "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Show
Seeking actors for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" show. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. Additional info: For your audition: be prepared to stay for the entirety of the 90-minute timeslot. Actors are encouraged to prepare 60 seconds of a song to sing a capella (without accompaniment), OR a short monologue, poem, or funny story that is no more than 60 seconds in length. You may choose to do both, but please make sure that your total audition time is 60 seconds or less. Dance auditions will be required for consideration for most principal roles. You will be taught a short routine. If you have specialty dance shoes (tap, pointe, etc.) bring them along, you may need them. Callbacks will be held on the evening of Thursday, May 23. Please be available for consideration for a major role. You will be notified if you are needed at callbacks before you leave your audition. Rehearsals are Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30pm- 9:30pm, starting Tuesday, June 4. Performances: August 2, 3, 4 (possible additional performances on August 9, 10, 11 if demand warrants).
