Seeking male and female actors for "Brothers" short film. Other details are provided below. About the project: Several Months after the death of their father, two teenage brothers are home while their mother takes a much-needed long vacation. After realizing how far apart the brothers have grown, the older, deadbeat, no-care-in-the-world brother, Charlie makes an effort to hang out with his, responsible, and emotionally detached younger brother, Logan. Upon losing their aunt’s dog, they are thrown on a wild goose chase and in the process have to learn to forgive each other and themselves. This film is a dramatic comedy and takes strokes of inspiration from films like Superbad and Big Time Adolescence. Rate: Unpaid positions, actors will be given credit. – After the death of his father, he rejects his childhood and picks up the slack of the entire family. He numbs his personality and cuts ties with his brother, becoming what he thinks he has to be to help his mother. (Has to look like they are in high school)

– Being a large figure in his children’s lives, his presence is greatly missed and felt. The father appears for a few scenes in sets of flashbacks. His character is integral to the story. (CAN LOOK ANY AGE ABOVE 18)

– Appearing a few minutes into the film, The Thief is a character that runs away with the brothers’ dog. He is meant to look skinny and scruffy — even a little strange. He is not your average-looking guy and has a sort of air of mystery to him. He is responsible for driving the main plot. (CAN LOOK ANY AGE ABOVE 18)
