The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work. Additional info: Your Mission: Use your humor and wit to create engaging and relevant TikTok videos to inspire young people to care about animals! Requirements: • You must be extremely comfortable on camera and with filming TikTok videos like filming yourself going to order vegan Taco Bell, speaking casually about an animal rights issue while you put on your cruelty-free makeup, or lip-syncing and dancing to a funny TikTok trend, for example. • You’re obsessed with TikTok–you scroll every day and are always one of the first to catch on to the latest trends and popular content • Similarly, you should be well-versed in Gen-Z and Gen Alpha pop culture and keep up on the latest shows, celebs, influencers, podcasts, and popular books, as well as collective generational sentiments. What famous young influencer recently posted a video about animals that we could stitch? What young celeb recently adopted a dog and is posting photos of them? What daily struggles is Gen Z facing that we could help alleviate with our compassionate lifestyle resources? • You must be a strong writer and an effective communicator • Minimum of one year of experience in an office environment • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software • Video editing experience using the TikTok app and CapCut • Excellent writing and organizational skills: on social media, you have less than three seconds to grab someone's attention, so every detail counts! • Proven ability to conduct and analyze marketing research • The content on our social-media accounts often reaches more people than any of our other online channels. Working with these accounts is a HUGE responsibility, and you must be confident and ready to take it on while being open to feedback on how to improve • You'll be working quickly and navigating a large organization with many goals. We need a go-getter with a passion to work both independently and as part of a team • You must have the proven ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines • Social media moves at the speed of light, so you must really be able to crank out high-quality work within short timeframes • You'll be responsible for getting our message out to the mainstream audience, so you must know PETA campaigns and animal rights issues inside and out • Willingness and ability to travel • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver's license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record • You must support PETA's philosophy and can advocate our positions on issues professionally • COVID-19 full vaccination and booster recommended • Adherence to a vegan lifestyle • Commitment to the objectives of the organization.
