ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Seeking performers for "Soil" play. More details are below. About the play: 3 a.m. A group of eco-activists meet at a diner. Shaken by their friend's disappearance, they try to turn over a new leaf. But when a mysterious man arrives, it seems they are not out of the woods just yet. Rate: Non union. Profit-share (equal split). Additional information: Production: 12th-22nd June in Ottawa (accommodation + travel provided). Rehearsals: mid-May to early June in Montreal/Tiohtia:ke. BIPOC. Funny, fierce, and unforgiving, Maude is the glue that holds the group together. Though they hide it, Maude really cares. MAXY (gender blind) - dopey and a bit dim, Maxy (like most fools) often speaks the truth. The little kid of the group, Cullen inspires Maxy to 'man up'.
