Seeking Performers for Production of "Heist"

He/Him. Irish. Leader of the group, the mastermind. Likeable. Charming. His leadership style is collegial. Underneath a slightly bookish, insecure persona, a determined man who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. We’re cheering for him. He kind of looks up to Ryan and is smitten by Angie who’s out of his league.

She/Her. Smart and savvy, French Femme Fatale, a chameleon. A fearless rock climber, a gymnast who can cartwheel through a laser maze and climb, jump, and twist. Feisty, sometimes vulnerable, always in control. Will not take crap from anyone. A good heart, a modern-day Robin Hood, but you don’t want to get on her bad side. She needs to look after herself. She uses her sexuality if she needs to. It’s good to have people in love with you in case things go sideways.

The Popeye. He/Him. Big, loud, in your face, but his bark is worse than his bite. Physically imposing. Blunt. Prefers a sword to a pen. Better yet, a hammer. Unpredictable. A straight shooter. A bulldozer, with a rarely-expressed softer side. A wild card. Emotional. Unpredictable. Suspicious of everyone and not afraid to call people out. He’s loyal, but don’t screw him. A bit of a scaredy-cat and his fear is our comedy.

The Geek. She/Her. College student. Highly intelligent, tech whiz, brains of the operation. Task oriented. Lacking social skills. No filter – may speak or snicker inappropriately sometimes. Talks in acronyms and slang. A bit of an outsider to the group. No tolerance for fools, especially Kruger. Has a bit of a crush on Angie.

The Gilligan. He/Him. Confident, cool, self-deprecating, easy-going. Likeable. Equally charming to both men and women. Can sell you anything. Carries an aura of mystery about him. Loves the thrill of the ride. Even though Marvin is the Boss, in some ways, Marvin defers to him. They have a cool rapport with easy banter between them. There may be something sinister lurking under the charm. Or not.

The Target. he/Her. Intimidating. Speaks and moves with intent and implicit threat. When she walks into a room, her presence is felt. She doesn’t need to raise her voice to create fear, but when she does, we tremble. There is no doubt that if you cross her, you will pay the price. She sees everything
