About the musical: Shakespeare’s most famous comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, reimagined in the 1970s and packed full of infectious music from the period by artists like: David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Bee Gees, Donna Summer and Olivia Newton-John, this will be a hilarious, glam-rock reinterpretation of a classic that will have audiences singing all the way home. Additional information: Rehearsal Starts: Tuesday, January 28, 2025. First preview: Saturday, February 22, 2025. Opening: Thursday, February 27, 2025. Closing: Sunday, March 23, 2025. Currently only considering submissions from Edmonton-based actors. All submissions should include ONE PDF FILE with both a Head shot and a Resume. THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS APRIL 29.
