Seeking Singers for Music Gig

Searching for talent for the "The Sound of Music" show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You must be available for all performances to be cast in the show. Call-Backs (if needed), will be Sunday, April 21, 1-3 pm and Tuesday, April 23, 7-9 pm. Scripts are available for check-out at Washington Public Library. Speaking Roles-You will be asked to read scenes from the script (no prepared monologue nor memorization required). Singing Roles-You will be asked to sing portions of songs from the musical (no memorization required; sheet music is attached). Sheet music and an accompanist will be provided. Parents/guardians, please come with younger children. Please be ready to list any conflicts with the rehearsal schedule. Rehearsals-April 25 with a read-through, then April 29 – June 20 (7-9:30 pm weeknights). Production Dates-June 21-23 & 28-30 (six performances-Fri & Sat at 7:30 pm, Sun at 2:30 pm).
