About the project: The film follows two women meeting in a bar who both find out about each other’s childhood best friends and the tragic backstory behind them, only for it to be revealed that they are the subject of each other’s stories. Rate: Though this is technically a volunteer, unpaid project, meals will be provided and transportation will be compensated for. Additional info: Current shoot dates are set for: MAY 4TH & MAY 5TH. Sarah, 21, has spent the last 15 years grieving over a childhood best friend lost in a freak accident. She brings herself to the bar on the anniversary, and comes to find herself talking to a stranger who uncannily resembles the friend she had lost… a little too similar.
Unnamed Woman (later revealed as Isabella), 21, has spent the last 15 years of her life wondering what has happened to her childhood best friend, who disappeared from her life one day without explanation. She finds herself talking to Sarah, who she feels spiritually drawn to in the bar.
The Bartender is a non-speaking role, but plays a pivotal role in the development between the two leads. He’s not very interactive, but clearly shows that he does not like his job.
