Musical Audition for "Anything Goes" Production
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. The production of "Anything Goes" is currently in need of performers. More details are below. About the project: A hilarious shipboard romp wrapped in one of Cole Porter's most magical scores. It's delightful, delicious and de-lovely! Additional information: Callbacks: Wednesday May 15th, 6:30pm-7:30pm. Tap Callbacks: 7:45pm-10:00pm. Callbacks: Peterborough. The rehearsal schedule will be as follows: June - Monday and Wednesdays 6:30pm-10:00pm August- Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30pm-10:00pm September thru November - Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30pm-10:00pm Sundays 12pm-5pm Registration will be open until May 3rd at 9pm. Mezzo (04-Eb5). A celebrated Nightclub singer and former Evangelist. Must have a "brassy" personality, a strong belt, great comic timing and Tap.
Tenor (B3-G4), A quick-witted young businessman who is always on the go and hopelessly in love. Must have great comic timing, some dance ability and a lyrical voice.
Soprano (A4-Eb5), The young debutant who is engaged to the wrong man. A strong legitimate soprano. Some dance ability. Sweet personality.
Baritone (C3-04), Hope's energetic. quirky. and good-natured aristocratic fiancé. English accent, strong singing and the ability to move well also required.
Baritone (Bb3-Gb4), A comic gangster disguised as a preacher! Lots of physical comedy. Featured comic singing. Must have high energy.
Mezzo (A4-C#5), A comic gun moll traveling with Moonface. Must be perky, have a fun comic voice, strong singing belt.
Hope's mother and a silly snob. She is often confused yet a force to be reckoned with. Mostly speaking role, some singing.
Baritone (C3-D4), Billy's Wall-street boss. Has a strong comic desire to drink (i.e. silly Lush). Mostly speaking role. Some featured singing.
Various ranges - must be able to hold a harmony. Reno's traveling back-up singers and showgirls! Will be singing Andrew Sister style backup and be featured in key dance numbers. Must have a strong voice, great personality and be an excellent tapper.

Baritone, The firm captain of the "S.S. American". Mostly a speaking role, can also be member of singing chorus.

4Baritone, A well respected missionary. Very full of himself. Mostly a speaking role, may also be member of the singing ensemble.
